Growing Green Acres

"...ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and
they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you...." Job 12:7-8

Growing Green Acres is a small education enterprise dedicated to helping people live healthier.

Through education and hands on workshops, we desire to reconnect people with the land and teach sustainable farming and gardening practices.  As stewards of the land, we respect the design of nature and the land we have the privilege to cultivate.  Our goal is to heal the soil and leave the land thriving and healthy for generations to come.

We provide organically grown seasonal produce, free range eggs (our chickens receive supplemental certified organic feed), herbal supplements for people and animals, super grow boxes (raised bed gardens), workshops and education. See the Speaking & Movie Screening tab to schedule a talk or movie screening for your church or civic group.

We participate in the Suffolk Farmer's Market from May - October. Opening day: May 19th.

“Each piece of earth is an opportunity to love. We begin by sizing up its potentials, by appreciating its limitations, by asking God what we can do to bring nutrition, order and beauty from this piece of land.”
